Opportunities and Challenges of Environmental Protection Paper Industry Under the New Situation

On the afternoon of September 12, a salon on the theme of "Opportunities and Challenges for the Environmental Paper Industry under the New Circumstances", which was hosted by the Environmental Paper Industry Professional Committee and co-organized by Reed Exhibitions, was successfully held in Ningbo.

This event focuses on the opportunities and challenges of the industry under the new situation, standard certification, material selection and application, and innovation directions, and provides feasible suggestions on sustainable development. Representatives from companies related to the industry chain such as chemicals, materials, equipment, papermaking, printing and packaging, and brand owners participated both online and offline. The meeting was chaired by Xia Xiaohui, standing committee member and deputy secretary-general, and discussed with industry insiders the opportunities and challenges of the industry under the new situation.

Mr. Wen Jianyu from China Light Paper Inspection and Certification Co., Ltd. shared the latest certification and recycling evaluation standards from the point of view of coated paper and paper products, and discussed the inspection and testing related to water-based coated environmental protection materials.

Mr. Xia Xiaohui and Mr. Zhu Liming gave a keynote report, focusing on the current situation of the food packaging industry and supply chain from the perspective of packaging materials and raw paper, exploring the latest packaging material applications and raw paper selection options to achieve the innovative development of the whole food packaging industry chain.
